Miami Dade

College has state-of-the-art engineering and computer labs

certifications, Associates in Science degrees and Associates
in Arts degrees are available to engineering students at the
College.
Those students seeking a Bachelors Degree
in Engineering can earn their Associates in Arts degree at the
College and continue their studies at the university level.
Miami Dade also has articulation agreements with outstanding
engineering universities such as Georgia Institute of
Technology and Kettering University, which accept Miami Dade
students automatically upon satisfactory completion of their
studies at the College.

The Computer
Repair Program provides students with the training
to obtain their A+ and Network+ Certifications in the Computer
Technology Industry. Along the way, student can earn College
certificates, including:
- Microcomputer Repair/Installer
- Computer Specialist
- Network Systems Developer
This Program is part of the
well-established Electronics Engineering Technology Program at
Miami Dade College which has been in existence for more than
35 years and has a job placement rate exceeding 96% for
graduates. The electronics and computer engineering programs
are highly regarded and strongly supported by industry,
resulting in substantial corporate contributions. The School
of Technology & Engineering has attracted endowments for
scholarships from such companies as Florida Power & Light,
ETS PayPhones, Florida Public Telecommunications Association,
and Johnson Controls.
